2024 done and dusted

So thank you folks for an amazing 2024. From a rapturous response to my fifth album, Your Community Hub, getting a remix from synth legend Vince Clarke, to returning to End Of The Road festival and my first international gig, at the incredible G Livelab, Helsinki.

Thank you all for your support, it wouldn’t be possible without you guys and girls out there.

Your Community Hub has now appeared on several Albums of the Year lists, including for Electronic Sound, Norman Records, JG Thirlwell’s list on Boomkat, A Closer Listen and Moonbuilding. Thank you all

Music in 2025

New music will be on its way to you next year. There’s the Overspill Estates EP, featuring four tracks from the Your Community Hub sessions. It’s been subject to many delays, alas, but it should be on Bandcamp and in stores soon in the New Year.

If you’ve not managed to get any of the purple series (A Shared Sense Of Purpose 12”, Your Community Hub and Overspill Estates), Castles In Space will be doing a limited bundle of these on Bandcamp.

Also due in 2025 will be the next Warrington-Runcorn New Town Development Plan album, Public Works and Utilities. I think this is possibly my best album to date, and if you’ve seen me live in the past year, you’ll have an idea of some of the tracks from it.

I’ve just been finishing the album artwork this week. The order will go in early in the new year for a release hopefully in the summer.

Gigs in 2025

Two gigs for 2025 have been announced so far, whilst I’m still working out the details for a full tour in the Autumn. I’m really stoked for both of these upcoming gigs, they’re both really exciting opportunities.

First off, I’ve been commissioned by Roadburn Festival in Tilburg, the Netherlands, to perform a suite of entirely new music. I’m also working on creating a fully synchronised visual show to go with it for a full audio-visual experience. Once it’s been debuted at Roadburn, I am free to use this music for whatever I wish afterwards, so there will be another album beyond 2025’s to come!

The other gig is a third appearance at The Castle and Falcon in Birmingham. I was offered a chance to support the inspirational Banco de Gaia and Pye Corner Audio. I couldn’t say no to appearing on that bill, so look forward to that in May.

Merry Christmas!

All that remains is for me to wish you a very Happy Christmas and Happy New Year! Many thanks for all your support in 2024, and I can’t wait to see you out on the road again in 2025!
