Live at The Bullingdon, Oxford, March 2026.
Hello folks and welcome! I’m making a slight change in format to this newsletter and shifting it up to be a monthly missive.
I know when I started it, I said I’d only post 4 times a year, because I didn’t want to overcrowd any inboxes. But people seem to keep missing out on gig news, or album news. And I asked on Bluesky if people wanted me to set up a Discord to chat, and the response was unanimous - give us a newsletter instead! So here we are.
So, without further ado, it’s a glorious sunny day here, so you don’t want me to waste any more time than necessary…
Upcoming gigs
First up, we have two dates in Belgium! I’ve never been to Belgium before, so I’m hugely looking forward to these. The first date on 12 May is in the Brutalist abbey church of Heilig Graf Herkenrode, Hasselt. I understand this is quite a small, intimate venue, so that will be fun. I’ll be playing for around 90 minutes there.
The second date is at dunk!festival in Zottegem, the other side of Brussels from Hasselt. It’s organised by dunk! who produce a lot of my records. I’ll be performing a shorter 45 minute long festival set on the forest stage.

The other big gig I have on the horizon is an all day Warrington-Runcorn And Friends special! It’s a delight to work with Baba Yaga’s Hut and Iklectik again, and an amazing opportunity to put together a dream bill of some of my favourite UK electronic artists. It’s always amazing to see Loula Yorke and Polypores in action - some of the most incredible, intense modular synth wranglers going! A’Bear will be bringing her psychedelic, experimental techno; Sulk Rooms his intense doom metal electronica and Kylie Monologue her Human League-meets-Warp synth laden joy.
I’ll be bringing a lot of unreleased music to this gig, so if you’ve seen me before, you should get to hear some tracks from the next album, and probably at least one album beyond that!
It’s an absolutely stellar lineup, it should be an absolute blast! As with all of my live dates, I don’t like skulking in the green room, I like to get out and chat to people, so I hope to see you there!
Album news
People & Industry: Special Edition

May is here, and the keen eyed amongst you may have noticed that the special edition of People & Industry promised for April 2026 has been and gone. Many apologies for that - it is on order, and has been for a while.
I know a lot of you are after this one - this is the number on album I get asked about at gigs and online. I hope you’ll appreciate it when it arrives! As soon as we establish a release date, I will let you know.
Industrial Growth
The next album - Industrial Growth - has been finished. I am just approving the masters from RedRedPaw this week. In the next few weeks, I’ll be working on the artwork - I have some outstanding illustrations from Runcorn artist Michael Cooke, who has previously supplied artwork on Districts, Roads, Open Space and on Your Community Hub.
The music for Industrial Growth was originally commissioned for the Roadburn Festival 2025. But as time has progressed and it’s transformed from live set to album, new songs have been introduced to create a more holistic mood. I’m hoping the finished album will be out before the end of the year, and some of the songs that have made way for new material may end up on a related EP, probably in early 2027.
That’s all for now!
So, thank you folks! Have a good weekend. Today is Bandcamp Friday, so you could always buy some stuff (cough), not just of mine, but buy some music. You’ll have fun, what can be better than owning music and not just renting it? I still have a range of t-shirts available on my Bandcamp, and my records are on Castles in Space.
I hope you have a good weekend and I’ll see you all soon!
TTFN, Gordon
